Yes, Yes! I love it when I hear Tammi sing acapella also!! That was a pleasant
surprise when i noticed you could take the music out and hear tammi and marvin
sing acapella!! Back in those days people really had to know how to sing. :-) I
wish their were inteviews of tammi talking about her career or anything though.

LaDia, Thank You! I saw Taraji on a magazine cover and it made me think of Tammi
on the cover of "United". I do not know of her acting ability, but she
looks like our Tammi! But she must be a good actress to be getting all the great
press she has gotten lately. Jeez, it has been quiet here lately, but March 16
will be here soon, sadly, there will be some posts on that day. LaDia, thank you
for posting on a regular basis. Hey, I got the Marvin DVD The Real Thing, but I
must confess I only got it because Tammi is on there. There is a mistake on the
Marvin/Tammi video though. They used the wrong take on "Ain't No
Mountain...there is a part where Tammi is singing w/Marvin but her lips
aren't moving! A rarity, because if they catch their mistake, they may fix
it on other pressings. I love it where you can make Marvin & Tammi sing
accapella! So great to hear those two gorgeous voices as God intended us to hear

I think taraji p. henson would be ideal. I wonder who tammi would
prefer to play her,if she were alive and could choose the person she;d
want to portray her,i wonder if she'd pick taraji.
